How to set the lock screen password?

Go to Settings>Screen Lock & Security>Screen Lock. You can then choose Swipe, Pattern, PIN or Password for the screen lock.
Notice: If you or someone else enters the wrong passcode too many times, your device will disable itself temporarily.
