Non-call scenarios:
1. Nothing OS with Essential Space installed: pressing and holding the TALK button for more than 500ms activates the Essential Space feature; Super Mic will show a yellow light.
2. Non-Nothing OS devices: pressing and holding the TALK button for more than 500ms activates the Voice Assistant; Super Mic will show a green light.
Note that the function can also be customised to no action via the Nothing X app.
Call scenarios:
Pressing and holding or double-clicking to lock the TALK button allows calls through Super Mic, which has a higher priority than non-call functions.
Releasing the long-press gesture or single-clicking unlocks the TALK button , taking you back to the earbud mic.
