What is Head-Tracking Spatial Audio?
Head-Tracking Spatial Audio simulates a real-world sound environment to create a 3D audio experience, delivering immersive, surround-style listening directly to your ears – regardless of the audio source. This allows you to enjoy a cinema-like experience anytime.
The head-tracking technology uses sensors to detect your head movements in real time and adjusts the direction of the audio accordingly. For example, when you turn your head, the sound remains anchored in its original position, enhancing spatial stability and sound localisation.
Please download the Nothing X app to enable and configure this feature. -
What is the AI Real-time adaptive ANC Algorithm?
The AI Real-time adaptive ANC Algorithm is an intelligent noise cancellation system that automatically detects the fit of the headphones and external noise leakage when ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) is enabled. Once detection is complete, the algorithm dynamically adjusts the ANC parameters to optimise noise reduction performance—providing the best possible ANC experience without any user intervention.
Important Notes:
Baseline Noise Cancellation
If the algorithm is not triggered, the earbuds will operate using preset ANC parameters. This ensures a consistent base level of noise cancellation regardless of whether the adaptive algorithm is running, so you can use the device with confidence.
Trigger Conditions:
1. ANC must be turned on: Use the app or the physical controls to switch ANC to "ON". Then, remove and re-wear the headphones to activate the in-ear detection and the Smart ANC algorithm.
2. Ambient noise threshold: The environmental noise level must exceed 65 dB during detection to allow noticeable ANC improvement.
3. Wearing behavior: Remain still during detection. Avoid actions such as swallowing or moving that may interfere with the process.
If you're not satisfied with the current ANC performance, you can re-trigger the detection by removing and re-wearing the headphones under the conditions above. -
What is 'Adaptive in noise control?
"Adaptive" in the noise cancellation level refers to Adaptive Noise Cancellation, an intelligent noise reduction technology. It automatically adjusts the level of noise cancellation based on the ambient noise in your environment, aiming to deliver the most comfortable and effective noise reduction experience.
