Please try the following:
1. Try connecting to a network with a better signal. An unstable network may cause the downloaded upgrade package to be damaged or missing.
2. Ensure your phone has enough storage space, so the download of the installation package can be completed.
3. Ensure your phone's has more than 40% power — less won't allow OTA upgrades. Upgrade after charging your phone for some time.
4. Avoid using your mobile phone during the OTA upgrade, so you don't interrupt the upgrade. If you've used it during the upgrade, perform the upgrade again.
If the above methods do not resolve your issue, please contact the Nothing customer service team for further assistance.

What do I do if Phone (2) gets hot during use?
Phones are generally suitable for use in an environment with a temperature between 0°C and 35°C. If the temperature is too high or too low, it'll affect your phone, causing it to heat up or fail to charge. In severe cases, it can cause damage to your phone and battery.
Precautions:
1. Don't use your phone for a long time in a high-temperature environment, especially in summer.
2. Choose thin, breathable protective cases over thick ones (leather or metal). When your phone is charging or the temperature rises, take off the case and let the screen rest for a while.
3. Choose a qualified phone radiator with good heat dissipation and cooling performance, or apply a wet tissue on the back of your phone to help dissipate heat.
Heat usage scenes:
1. High-power consumption scenarios
a) Weak signal
When the WiFi signal and phone signal are weak, your phone will increase the power of transmitting and receiving signals, which, in turn increases your phone's power consumption. It also increases when you use 5G.
b) Gaming
To ensure the quality and smoothness of the game, chips such as the CPU and GPU of your phone need to operate at high performance, causing it to reach its maximum temperature after 20 minutes.
c) Video watching
The screen, data processor, and image processor of your phone are in a long-term working state. For example, when you watch a video or live broadcast, high resolution and bitrate will increase your phone's power consumption and generate more heat.
d) Many backgrounds
Your phone will heat up faster if there are too many programs, pop-up windows, search signals or networks in the background, or if you have WiFi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth or other functions enabled at the same time.
2. Charging scenarios
Charging your phone means converting energy. The charging device will generate a certain amount of heat during operation, which will cause your phone and charger to heat up to a certain extent. This is normal. The charging power is relatively large, especially for phones that support flash charging and super flash charging. The energy generated during charging is more, and the temperature will be higher than that of ordinary mobile phones.
Suggestions:
a) We recommend you use the official standard charger for charging and don't place your phone in an environment with high temperature and poor heat dissipation.
b) Avoid using your phone while charging. If your phone continues to run during charging, the CPU of the phone will be burdened and heat will increase.
Kind tips:
1. Your phone needs hardware to work during operation. While in use, it will generate heat. This is normal.
2. If your phone is inexplicably hot or cold, we recommend you shut it down for a period of time and then restart it. If there is no obvious improvement, please contact our Online Customer Service or take the purchase invoice, warranty card and mobile phone to the maintenance center designated by Nothing for inspection and treatment. -
What do I do if the battery drops quickly, and how do I check the details of power consumption?
Causes and solutions:
1. Fast power consumption in a low-temperature environment:
At low temperature, the performance of the lithium battery deteriorates, resulting in increased power consumption. This is normal. Wait until your phone returns to normal room temperature.
2. Fast power consumption with 5G network:
When your phone uses the 5G network, the 4G network is turned on simultaneously, so the power consumption automatically increases. You can turn it on or off according to your needs by going to Settings> Network & Internet> SIMs> Preferred Network Type.
3. Fast power consumption after upgrade:
Power consumption increases after you upgrade your phone. Charge for one night after the upgrade. Alternatively, your phone will recover by itself after 2-3 days of normal use.
4. Check the power consumption details:
Go to Settings> Battery> Battery Usage, and check the power consumption details of corresponding programs. -

How do I use call recording?
Ensure you're in a country or region where call recording is supported. Features vary based on your country or region.
1. Start a recording from a call
The first time you record a call, you’ll be asked to comply with local laws related to recording calls. Many jurisdictions require consent by all parties to record the call.
For privacy protection, when you start recording, both parties are notified with a disclosure that the call is being recorded. When you stop recording, both parties are notified with a disclosure that the call is no longer being recorded.
To record:
- Open the Phone app.
- Make or receive a call.
- Tap Record on the ongoing call screen.
- To stop recording, tap Stop recording.
2. Find a recorded call
Recordings are stored on your device for privacy protection — they aren't saved or backed up off-device.
To find your recording:
- Open the Phone app.
- Tap Recents.
- Tap on the caller you recorded.
> If you recorded the most recent call: go to the player in the Recents screen.
> If you recorded a previous call: tap History. Then select the recording from the list of calls.
- Tap Play.
- Optional: to share a recorded call, tap Share.
Tip:
You can share recorded calls to supported apps, such as email or messaging apps. -
