    No, you don't need to restart Phone (2) every day.

  • What do I do if I've lost my phone?

    Use the Find My Device function. Be sure to have it enabled in the first place by going to Settings> Security> Find My Device.

    Requirements:
    1. If you've lost your phone, you'll need to log into your Google account and enable the Find My Phone function.
    2. Your phone needs to be turned on.
    3. Your phone needs to be using data network or a wireless network.

  • What is a system update?

    We regularly release system updates to ensure an outstanding user experience.

  • How do I make the noise cancellation better?

    This may be caused by the ear tip sealing. Please open the Nothing X App and take the Ear Tip Fit Test in Device Settings to try and solve the issue.

  • What should I do if an earbud does not reconnect to a device within the Bluetooth range?

    The earbuds will automatically disconnect when they are out of the Bluetooth connection range. If you place the device back within the required range of the earbuds within 10 mins, it will re-connect successfully. If it has been more than 10 mins, it will timeout. You will then have to place the earbuds back into the case, wait 5 seconds, and reconnect.

  • What should I do if the earbud does not reconnect to a device after opening the lid of the charging case?

    1. If Ear (2) has connected to multiple devices. After opening the charging case lid, Ear (2) will automatically connect to the most recently connected device.
    2. If Ear (2) cannot find the most recently connected device one minute after the earbud has been taken out from the case, please place the earbuds into the case and after 5 seconds with it closed, open the case. Then try to connect again.
    3. Place the earbuds into the charging case, open the case, then hold the button for 10 seconds to reset. Then try the connection again.
    4. If the above steps cannot solve the issue, please make sure the Nothing X App* is up to date

  • What should I do if the earbuds do not charge?

    If your earbuds are not charging, please follow the below steps.
    1. Check if there is any dirt on the stem of the earbud or in charging case at the charging pin.
    2. Lightly shake the charging case to ensure the earbuds and the charging pin are connected.
    3. Put the earbuds into the charging case and connect to a charger for 10 mins.
    4. Open the case and long press the pair button for 10 seconds to reset. Wait until the notification light is on and try again.

  • What languages does the Nothing X app support?

    For IOS, Nothing X supports the following languages: German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Hong Kong Traditional, Taiwan Traditional, Arabic, English, and Simplified Chinese.

    For Android, up to 50 languages are supported.

  • Why are my earbuds unable to change when placed in the charging case?

    Use Ear (stick) where the ambient temperature is between 0º and 45º C. Low or high temperature conditions might cause the device to change its behaviour. If the interior temperature of the device exceeds the normal operating range, the device will protect its internal components by attempting to regulate its temperature. If this happens, charging might slow or stop. Please bring the device back to regular ambient temperatures and try charging again.

  • Why isn't Ear (stick) reconnecting when it is in connection range?

    Ear (stick) will disconnect when the device has exceeded the Bluetooth range or there are obstacles between them. Place Ear (stick) close to your device and open the charging case, or re-enable Bluetooth on your device and try again.

  • Why doesn't my Ear (stick) automatically reconnect after opening the charging case?
    1. It could be that the device in use is not the most recently connected. Ear (stick) will automatically reconnect to the most recently connected device. In this case, reconnect to the Ear (stick) on your device.
    2. Pairing with Ear (stick) may have been cancelled on your device. Please set Ear (stick) to pairing mode and connect again.
    3. Clean the charging contact points of Ear (stick) and the charging case to ensure that Ear (stick) can detect when the case is open.
    4. Place Ear (stick) inside the case, charge them to a suitable level, and then try again. If the issue cannot be resolved, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorised Nothing Service Centre for assistance.
  • Why is the battery draining so fast?
    1. Power consumption varies in different scenarios. The peak of power consumption for Ear (stick) is during calls.
    2. It is normal that the percentage difference between the left and right earbud is between 0 and 10% when using them both simultaneously.
    3. Upgrade your NOTHING X app to the latest version in the App store. Then go to Settings>Firmware Update.
    4. Press the button on the charging case for 10 seconds for a factory reset. If the issue cannot be resolved, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorised Nothing Service Centre for assistance.
  • Why can't my earbuds charge fully?
    1. If the earbuds and charger case are completely out of power, continuously charge for 4 hrs and observe again.
    2. Replace the cable and charger and see if this works.
    3. Charge the earbud in a lower temperature enviroment and try again. If the issue cannot be resolved, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorised Nothing Service Centre for assistance.
  • Why is my charging case failing to charge?
    1. Check if there is dirt inside the charging port of the case.
    2. Replace with another cable or charger and see if this works.
    3. Plug the charger in and out several times and check the status. If the issue cannot be resolved, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorised Nothing Service Centre for assistance.
  • Why are my earbuds failing to charge?
    1. Check if there is any dirt inside the earbud and the pin.
    2. Lightly shake the case to ensure the earphone and pogo pin is closely aligned, and check to see if it works.
    3. Put the earbud in the charging case, close the lid and connect the charger for 10 minutes. Check to see if it works.
    4. Open the case and long press the pair button for 10 seconds. Wait until the notification light is on and try again.
  • What should I do if the app stops working?

    You can troubleshoot the NOTHING X app by following the below steps: 1. Visit Google Play or the iOS App Store to make sure you have the latest version of the app. 2. If you already have the most recent version of the NOTHING X app, quit the app and make sure it is not running in the backround, and then open the app again. - Android: Go to Settings>App Management>App List>NOTHING X App>Clear Cache and then re-open the app. - iOS: open the Settings>General>iPhone Storage>NOTHING X App>Clear Cache and then re-open the app. 3. If the issue is not resolved, uninstall and re-install the app. Note: Ensure your device's OS version is compatible with the NOTHING X app.

  • What should I do if I have lost one of my earbuds?

    Use "Find My Earbud" on the NOTHING X app. This feature will trigger the earbuds to play a sound to help you locate them.

  • What should I do if the LED lights on the charging case do not work?
    1. Ensure that the charging source and the USB-C cable are in working condition.
    2. Check that the USB-C cable is connected correctly to the charging case.
    3. Ensure that the charging pins do not have any dirt on them which can affect the power flow to the case.
    4. Make sure that your device is updated with the latest version of the firmware.
    5. Reset the device.
  • What should I do if the microphone volume is too low?

    If the microphone on your Ear (stick) is too quiet for others to hear you during phone calls, please try the following: 1. Check if the call recipient has the volume of their device at an audible level. 2. Ensure that you have the latest firmware installed. 3. Record audio and playback to test the microphone for any issues. 4. Check and confirm that no dirt is blocking the mics (there are 3 mics, accessed through the silver grills on each earbud). 5. Disconnect and connect the earbuds. 6. Reset the device.

  • How to change fonts on Nothing Phone (1)?

    The font in Phone (1) cannot be changed. However, to change to font size, navigate to Settings > Display > Font Size.

  • How to enable dark theme on Nothing Phone (1)?

    Dark theme is enabled by default. To change it, swipe down to access Quick Settings and find the "Dark Theme" tile and tap it to toggle it on / off.
