  • How do I adjust the Glyph light for ringtones?

    Go to Settings> Glyph Interface> Ringtones> Default Ringtone. You can preview the Glyph display and choose the different Glyph styles. Click the Add icon in the upper left and add your customised ringtones.

    You can set notification sounds similarly and choose from original Nothing sounds and imported sounds.

    Option 2: Swipe down from the top of the phone to access the notification status bar. Then swipe down again to access the Control Centre, and toggle on the Dark Theme icon.

  • How do I hide notifications on the lock screen?

    Go to Settings> Notifications> Notifications on Lock Screen, and select Don't show any notifications.

  • How do I enable NFC on Phone (2) ?

    Option 1: Go to Settings> Connected Devices> Connection Preferences> NFC, and toggle on the Use NFC icon.

    Option 2: Swipe down from the top to access the notification status bar. Then swipe down again to access the Control Centre, and toggle the NFC icon.

  • How do I block people on Phone (2)?

    Option 1: Swipe up from the homescreen and tap Contacts> Select the Contact. Then tap the three vertical dots [⋮] and go to Block Numbers> Block.

    Option 2: Tap on the Dialer app and tap Contacts> Select the Contact. Then tap the three vertical dots [⋮] and go to Block Numbers> Block.

  • How do I use Google Assistant to activate the Glyph Interface?

    Go to Settings> Glyph Interface, and enable Google Assistant. The Glyph Interface will then light up when you trigger Google Assistant.

  • How do I personalise the Glyph Interface for notifications?

    Go to Settings> Apps> App Locker, and select the apps you want to lock.

    We suggest you protect your personal data by setting a lock screen password, too.

  • How do I turn Phone (2) off?

    Option 1: Press the Power and Volume up buttons simultaneously, and a pop-up menu will appear. Then press power.

    Option 2: Swipe down from the top of the screen to access Quick settings. Swipe down again to access the control centre and press the Power button.

  • How do I access Multiple Users from the lock screen?

    First, make sure the Multiple Users function is enabled by going to Settings> System> Multiple Users.

    With this enabled, swipe down from the top of the lock screen to access Quick Settings and tap the User icon.

  • How do I open the camera from the lock screen?

    First, make sure you enable the function by going to Settings> System> Gestures> Quickly open camera.

    With this enabled, you can open the camera from any screen by pressing the power button twice.

  • How do I set an alarm?

    Option 1: Go to Settings> Apps> See all Apps> Find Clock, and tap Open. Tap the Add icon to create a new alarm and adjust to your preferred settings.

    Option 2: Swipe down twice on your screen to access Quick Settings. Tap on Clock and go to Alarm. Tap the Add icon to create a new alarm and adjust to your preferred settings.

    Core features:
    - Repeat: select a time for your alarms to repeat between Monday and Sunday.
    - Label: add labels for your alarms.
    - Alarm sound: select a sound for your alarm.
    - Vibrate: turn vibration on/off.

    Additional features (under More icon> Settings):
    - Silent after: automatically silence an alarm after a set period of time.
    - Snooze length: set snooze length from 1 to 30 mins.

    Note:
    You can set as many alarms as you want.
    The alarm will also ring when your phone is in silent mode.

  • How do I prevent apps from using network data in the background?


    Long-press the app icon on the home screen and select App Info> Mobile Data & WiFi to disable background data.

  • How do I switch between 4G and 5G?

    Go to Settings> Network & Internet> SIMs, and choose the corresponding SIM card. Then select Preferred network type to switch to your preferred network type.

  • How do I reset my lock screen password?

    The lock screen password uses an irreversible algorithm and CAN'T be reset. This is for privacy and information security.

    You can circumvent this by resetting your phone to factory defaults, which will erase all data stored on your Nothing device. Be sure to back up any important data in this case.

  • How do I reset Phone (2) to factory settings?

    Important note: Restoring your phone to factory settings will clear apps, contacts, SMS and other data in the phone; they can't be restored after the operation. Be sure to back up any important data beforehand, including chat records of third-party applications such as WhatsApp.

    To restore your phone to factory settings, go to Settings> System> Reset Options> Erase all Data.

    Note:
    If your phone is set with a lock screen password or you're logged in with your Google account, you'll need to verify your lock screen/ Google account password before resetting your phone. Ensure you have a stable network connection for this. After restoring, enter the password, and set the phone.

  • How do I clean up storage space?

    Option 1: One-Touch Optimisation
    Go to Settings> Storage> Free up Space> Clean. Your phone will automatically detect and remove hidden temp (temporary folders or files), cookie, and cache files generated.

    Option 2: Clean by classification
    Go to Settings> Storage> Free up Space> Clean> Internal, and remove your chosen files from the phone.

  • How do I set the lock screen password?

    Go to Settings> Security & Privacy> Device Lock> Lock Screen. You can then choose Swipe, Pattern, PIN, or Password for the lock screen.

    Note:
    If you or someone else enters the wrong passcode too many times, your device will disable itself temporarily.

  • How do I check data network usage?

    Go to Settings> Network & Internet> SIMs, and choose the corresponding SIM card. You can check the total data usage or choose App data usage to view how many apps you've used in a certain time range.

  • How do I enable Airplane Mode?

    When Airplane Mode is on, your phone's wireless functions such as WiFi, Bluetooth and Cellular Data turn off by default.
    Go to Settings> Network & Internet> Airplane Mode, and enable it. Alternatively, swipe down from the top of your screen to open Control Centre, and tap on the Airplane Mode icon.

  • How do I clean up a file?

    Swipe up the screen, open the application drawer and find Files. Open the Files app and choose the file you want to clean. Alternatively, download a clean-up app to help clean files.

    Note:
    Installing third-party cleaning software may cause power consumption and other problems.

  • How do I set up network/call/SMS for a dual SIM card?

    Access the SIM card management function via Settings> Network & Internet> SIM Card. Choose your data, call demand and SMS preferences.

  • How do I switch my data use from SIM1 to SIM2?

    Go to Settings> Network & Internet> Internet, select the corresponding SIM card and enter Setting> Mobile Data Settings to enable/disable. You can adjust whether the card provides data to the data flow.

  • How do I clear the browser history?

    1) Go to the Browser app and click on Menu> History> Clear browsing data. Select the records you want to delete, and tap Clear Data to select the time period: last hour/last day/all.
    2) Go to the Browser app and click on Menu> Settings> Privacy and Security page, check the Clear browsing data and tap Clear Data to remove all browser records.

  • How do I set the time on my screen?

    1. Enter Settings> System Date & Time to access time settings, including the 24-hour system, time zone, and double clock.
    2. Open the Clock app and click on the More icon in the top right hand corner. Select Settings> Change Time, and go to the Date & Time settings page.

    Features:
    - The clock defaults to the 24-hour system. If the 24-hour system is closed, it will be displayed in the 12-hour system.
    - The phone automatically detects and sets the time and date.
    - You can change the time zone and time manually.
